SCAR CAMOUFLAGE

Scar Camouflage  is a specialized, corrective procedure designed to restore the appearance of skin imperfections. This treatment is ideal for individuals looking to improve thee appearance of scars, burns, vitiligo, stretch marks, or other skin discolorations. We carefully match the pigment to your skin tone and strategically apply it to the affected area. The result is a flawless, uniform appearance that blends effortlessly with your natural skin, helping to minimize the appearance of imperfections and restore confidence.

Your skin will continue to heal and improve after scar camouflage treatment. Follow these instructions carefully to prepare for your appointment and ensure the best possible results.

    • Stop using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, and exfoliating treatments on the area at least 30 days before treatment.

    • Avoid Botox, fillers, peels, or laser treatments on or near the area for at least 4 weeks before your appointment.

    • Stay hydrated and avoid alcohol and caffeine for 48 hours before treatment to support healing.

    • Do not tan or expose the area to direct sun for at least 2 weeks before your procedure. Sun exposure can interfere with pigment matching.

    • Moisturize the area daily in the weeks leading up to your appointment to ensure the skin is in good condition for pigment absorption.

    • Keep the treated area clean and dry for the first 24 hours.

    • Do not touch, scratch, or pick at the area as it heals. This can cause uneven healing or pigment loss.

    • Avoid applying makeup, creams, or active skincare ingredients (such as acids or retinol) on the treated area for 7-10 days.

    • No excessive sweating, swimming, or heat exposure (hot tubs, saunas, direct sun) for 7 days.

    • Apply the recommended healing ointment as directed to protect the treated area and promote healing.

    • Avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF 50+ once the area has fully healed to prevent pigment fading.

  • Healing Timeline

    • Days 1-3: Mild redness, tenderness, and possible swelling.

    • Days 4-7: Skin may scab, flake, or lightly peel. Avoid picking at it.

    • Days 7-14: The pigment will begin to settle and blend with your natural skin tone.

    • Weeks 4-6: Full healing and color stabilization occur. A touch-up session may be scheduled if needed for adjustments.

    Additional Notes:

    • Final results develop over 6-8 weeks. Pigment may appear darker initially and lighten as the skin heals.

    • Some scars or discolorations may require multiple sessions to achieve the best blend.

    • Results can last 2-5 years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine.
